Privacy Policy

01 — Who we are
This website is operated by nüte Foods Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong. When this policy refers to "nüte", "we", "us", or "our", it means nüte Foods Limited.
We are committed to protecting the personal data of everyone who interacts with us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what your rights are under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 522) of Hong Kong (the "PDPO").

02 — What data we collect and why
Contact and enquiry forms
When you submit a message through our contact or corporate enquiry forms, we collect your name, email address, company name (where provided), and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or use your details for marketing without your explicit consent.
Job applications
Applications submitted via the email links on our Careers page are received directly into our email inbox. Any personal data included — your name, contact details, CV, or portfolio — is used only for assessing your application. We do not share this with third parties outside of nüte's hiring team.
Server and access logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) automatically records standard server log data when you visit the site. This includes your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the time of your request. This data is used for security, debugging, and service reliability purposes. We do not use it to identify or track individual users.
Analytics
We use Google Search Console to understand how our site performs in search results. This service provides aggregated, anonymised data about search queries and page performance. It does not process individually identifiable personal data about visitors. We do not currently use Google Analytics or any behavioural tracking tool on this site.
03 — Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not run retargeting campaigns or share cookie data with third parties for marketing purposes.
The site may use strictly necessary technical cookies to support basic functionality such as language preferences or form session state. These cookies do not identify you personally, are not shared with third parties, and are deleted when you close your browser.

To operate this website, we use the following third-party platforms. Each is bound by its own privacy policy and, where applicable, data processing agreements with us.

The third-party services listed above are headquartered in the United States. When your data is processed by these services, it may be transferred outside of Hong Kong. We only engage service providers who maintain appropriate technical and organisational safeguards consistent with the protections required under the PDPO.
We do not transfer your personal data to any other countries for our own purposes.
06 — How long we keep your data
We only keep personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.
- —Contact and enquiry emails: retained for up to 2 years, then deleted.
- —Job applications: retained for 6 months from the date of receipt. If we wish to keep your details on file for future opportunities, we will ask for your explicit consent.
- —Server logs: retained by Vercel for up to 30 days in standard operation.
07 — Your rights under the PDPO
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 522), you have the following rights in relation to personal data we hold about you:
- —Right of access: you may request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- —Right of correction: you may request that we correct any inaccurate personal data.
- —Right to object to direct marketing: we will not use your personal data for direct marketing without your explicit consent. If you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

If you believe your data has been handled in a manner inconsistent with the PDPO, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) at pcpd.org.hk.
08 — Data security
We take reasonable precautions to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. The website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted via an encrypted connection. Access to our CMS and email systems is restricted to authorised nüte team members.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we do our best to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09 — Children
This website is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10 — Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
